CONGA - Security guards' vigilance control device

These days the clients of the security service companies require some services of the highest level that have to be proven and documented. There are many technical tools for controlling the security guards (such as tracking control, camera systems, etc.). Several partners indicated their demands to Smartronics.hu Co. Ltd. to develop a device for vigilance control of the security guards, providing uncontrolled activities in the nights (such as gatekeeper services, handling of camera systems, etc.)

Short desciption:

We have developed our device for several application modes, besides this we also aimed to manufacture such a device that can meet the new requirements as well. Considering these points of view our device can be configured by PCs, consequently, it can be used alone or together with a supervisory center too.

Operation of the device:

The device is in quiescence until the control enabling is accomplished. The enabling of the control can be done from the input of the device or from the time given by the internal real time clock (RTC). If the control is enabled, the device starts the vigilance control at random between the interval given. During this checking the device gives a light or sound sign. In this period the security staff has to acknowledge the control by pushing the button.

The control has two adjustable kinds of mode:

Simple control ? in this case during the control period the control can be acknowledged independently of the display.
? Control, dependent on the display ? this mode controls the concentration of the security staff, since the acknowledgment is valid only in that case, if the two LEDs on the display flash at the same time.

You can also set the device in such a way that in case of an unsuccessful control another, second control can be done in a fixed period.

Sikertelen vizsgálat illetve pótvizsgálat esetén a készülék relés riasztás jelzést ad, illetve a kijelző állapotjelző LED-je is mutatja, hogy sikertelen volt a vizsgálat. A készülék fel van készítve az esetleges szabotázs fajták (nyugtázó nyomógomb beragadás, készülék szétszerelés) detektálására is, amelyek érzékelése esetén a relé kimeneten és a LED kijelzőn jelzést ad.

In case of unsuccessful controls or second controls the device gives relay alarm signs and the display?s status LED shows that the control was not successful. The device is prepared for the detection of the eventual sabotage actions (like as sticking of the acknowledging button or disassembly of the device) and in case of sensing any problem the device gives signs on the relay output and the LED display.

The next control automatically deletes the signs of relay output, and the status LED signs of the display can be deleted either by the internal real time clock (RTC) or by the sign, received on the input of the device ? up to the setting.

On the basis of the aboves you can see that the device can be used without the application of the inputs or outputs, i.e. without the supervisor alarm center, simply with the help of the internal real time clock or by the connection of the inputs and outputs to the alarm system. Thus this device can be one of the units of the alarm system available.

Naturally, if you use this device together with the current supervisor alarm systtem, you will have more possibilities for control as well as for real time intervention, since the signs arriving to an alarm center can be received by a remote supervisor center together with other, different events, and thus it can prepare an activity report and documentation too.
